Katy Mayfield is a junior and the Viewpoints Editor for the ODYSSEY Newsmagazine. She performs at Canopy Studios, tutors at Barrow Elementary, is a member of Yoga and Interact Clubs, and founder of the Young Democrats club. This is Mayfield’s third year on the ODYSSEY staff and and she’s thrilled to spend it writing about local and national politics and helping staffers do the same.
